Jadeja Returns to No.1 All-Rounder In ICC Test Rankings

Ravindra Jadeja, the first choice all-rounder for Team India in all forms of cricket.

Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its new Test ranking list with the conclusion of the two-match Test series between South Africa and the West Indies.

The ranking list is exclusive to Indians and star player Ravindra Jadeja has secured the number one position in the world. Windies all-rounder Jason Holder slipped to second place due to his poor performance against Harina.

South Africa has wiped out the two-match Test series against hosts West Indies. South Africa's highest run-scorer in the series, wicket-keeper batsman Quinton de Kock, played a key role in the team's 158-run victory in the second Test in St Lucia.

No rain for some time, the result is likely to come!

His effort paid off and came back in the top 10 list of Test ranking batsmen. De Kock scored 98 runs in the first innings of the second Test. The show made it to the top 10 list after 18 months. The 28-year-old left-handed batsman was ranked 6th in his career in December 2019.

Holder, who lost 28 points

Meanwhile, former West Indies captain and legendary all-rounder Jason Holder continue to top the all-rounder rankings after losing 28 ratings. This could help Jadeja regain the No. 1 position. This is Jadeja's first time since August 2017. He scored just 2 points ahead of Holder.
